Ms. Hall was appointed to Inland Empire Utilities Agency Board of Directors in October 2013, elected in November 2014 and re-elected November 2018 representing the city of Fontana, and areas of influence in Rialto and Bloomington. She is the agency’s first African American president of the board in the 72 years history. Currently serving as president of California Association of Sanitation Agencies, former chairwoman of Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority, and chairwoman of California African American Water Education Foundation. She represented the agency as Chairwoman of Inland Regional Composting Authority for two years and several years as the agency’s representative on Association of California Water Agencies.
She has extensive experience in community leadership by serving on the City of Fontana Planning Commission and as Chairwoman for the Parks and Recreation Commission. Her commitment to the community goes far beyond her work experience, she believes in the well-being of the community.
She has been heavily involved in education and inspiring students to become great leaders. Ms. Hall is involved in Solar Cup which teaches high school students about conservation of natural resources, electrical and mechanical engineering and problem solving. In addition to Solar Cup, Ms. Hall participates in Earth Day promoting environmental stewardship, Water is Life poster contest promoting water conservation and Water Discovery Field Trips. Ms. Hall has provided support to future generations through mentorship, volunteering and service.
Ms. Hall was instrumental in the Agency receiving the "District Transparency Certificate of Excellence" from the Special District Leadership in recognition of the Agency completion of all transparency program requirements designed to promote transparency in their operations and governance to the public and other stake holders.
